In 2 of 5 litigations, dentists were pronounced as being negligent or deficient or followed unfair trade practices.

The average compensation claimed was INR 577287 ± 905898 while the average compensation awarded was 103998 ± 158976.

Inclusion of literature evidence and or expert opinion had an impact on the litigation outcome.
